Resources That Rock

Hello Peachy Teachers!

Welcome to the “Resources That Rock” corner of the blog! As a 6th-12th grade English teacher with (ahem!) a few years under my belt, I’ve stumbled upon, scoured for, and occasionally been gifted some truly amazing tools that have made my life in the classroom a whole lot easier. Consider this page my personal treasure chest of teaching gems.

Given our ongoing journey through the new Georgia Standard Domains, I’ve curated a collection of resources here that I truly believe will align seamlessly with the work we’re all doing. You’ll find everything from curriculum-specific supports to those magical classroom management go-to’s that just… work. And here’s the best part: almost 90% of the links you’ll find below are to fantastic, free resources or direct links to documents that have absolutely streamlined my planning and teaching. These are largely things I’ve just “found online” over the years, proving that the internet is, indeed, a teacher’s best friend. I’ve also tossed in a few personal favorites that have been shared with me by generous colleagues throughout my career. After all, sharing is caring when it comes to teaching, right?

So, dive in, explore, and if you happen to uncover any stellar resources yourself, or have a link you wholeheartedly recommend, don’t be shy! Feel free to post it in the comments section or shoot me an email. Let’s make this a collaborative hub for all things awesome in education!
